I can confirm what you've been reading in the reviews about excellence in service demonstrated by BulletROOF. I remember meeting Mayson Madden while I watched BulletROOF replace the roof for my neighbor. I was not inclined to replace mine thinking I had several years left and would deal with it later but he approached me and we started talking. He took the time to point out a broken shingle that I had not noticed and several other questionable spots - so I had him inspect the roof. Then I did my homework to check out BulletROOF. Mason made the process easy, helped me with the insurance claim, my insurance company conducted their own inspection and I am now a VERY satisfied customer! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience with Mayson Madden of Bulletroof. He had great communication and made the whole process of filing with insurance to get a new roof after wind damage easy and understandable. The crew who did the install was profession and did a quality job. We could not be happier with the results.

Bulletroof installed a new roof for me last Saturday. (It was a Warranty claim, defective IKO shingles on an 8 year old roof.)
From first contact (which I initiated after reading Bulletroof's Google Reviews), through the roof installation, cleanup, and final site inspection, communication and follow-through were excellent. Bulletroof's sales rep, Mayson Madden, and their Raleigh VP, James Marshall, were involved every step of the way.
Bulletroof made it possible for me to upgrade to a better quality shingle/total roofing system, GAF Timberline HDZ, at no additional cost to me. I did not want to put IKO Shingles back on my roof!
I was concerned about the use of contractors. James told me Bulletroof uses the same contractors all the time. They have to be trained and certified "GAF Masters Elite Roofing Contractors" in order for GAF's Manufacturer's Warranty to be in effect (I confirmed this in GAF's products brochure). The day of the job, Mayson and James were both on and off my roof and the crew supervisor was on site the whole time. I'm really pleased with how everything was handled.

What’s the Advantage of a Metal Roof?

Metal Roofs Are Eco-Friendly

Unlike traditional asphalt shingles that end up in landfills, metal roofs are made of 100% recyclable materials. Additionally, metal roofs reduce energy costs by as much as 40%. This is because the coating on modern metal roofs has special pigments that reflect, rather than absorb, the sun’s heat. We also specialize in cedar shake and shingle roofing services which is also an eco-friendly roof.

Little to No Maintenance Required

The weather-resistant material does the work for you. Dirt, grime, and leaves will naturally slide off and down the sides. You will never have to worry about blistering, cracks, or holes.

Metal Roofs Are Hail-Resistant

According to the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS), metal roofing is far less likely to be punctured by hail than conventional asphalt shingles. That is definitely a benefit, especially in our area.

Types of Metal Roofs We Install

Aluminum Roofing

Aluminum is the most affordable option because it’s lightweight, which cuts down on labor costs. The small spangles achieve a more cohesive look than some of the other options. It’s reflective quality can make it look very bright, however. If you are looking for an all-around durable metal material, aluminum is a great option.

Copper Roofing

Copper roofing is the most expensive type of metal roof material, but its strength makes it a strong contender. Your copper roof can last up to 200 years! The unique look has been a favorite throughout the last century and for good reason – its high thermal conductivity will keep your energy costs low.

Corrugated Metal Roofing

Corrugated metal is galvanized steel that is rolled into a pattern. The two most popular styles of corrugated metal are U-panel and R-panel. Corrugated metal is prefabricated (which saves on cost), lightweight, corrosion-resistant, durable, and easily transported. You can expect this type of metal roofing to last up to 60 years.

Standing-Seam Metal Roofing

Standing seam metal roofing is unique because it has concealed fasteners and interlocking panels to provide supreme waterproof protection. The architectural look creates interest for the eye. Standing-seam metal roofs are an easy way to amp up your home’s style. And, like all metal roofs, they are durable and budget friendly.

Steel Roofing

Steel roofing is manufactured in giant rolls. Next, it’s coated with either zinc or a zinc-aluminum mixture to protect it from oxidation. It comes in a variety of thicknesses to suit your roof’s individual needs. The great thing about it is that it’s like a chameleon. You can make it look like many other roofing types

Metal Roof FAQs

What’s the cost of a metal roof in Raleigh?
In Raleigh, a metal roof will cost somewhere between $6 per square foot.
Are metal roofs popular in Raleigh?
We install many metal roofs here in Raleigh because of their resistance to high winds. This comes in handy with our often unpredictable weather and storms.
Are metal roofs noisy?
You’ve probably heard loud rain droplets or acorns dropping on metal roofs and thought to yourself “I could never live with that!” Don’t worry, on a residential project, we install many layers of insulation, drywall and other materials that completely muffle outside noises.
Are there any disadvantages to metal roofs?
Since metal roofs last such a long time, in the event that you do need to repair a small part of it, it might be hard to match the material. The color and shine will fade over time which can cause a mis-matched look.

We recognize that selecting your type of metal roof is a big decision. It can also be overwhelming. As a customer-focused contractor, BulletROOF® in Raleigh will guide you through the selection process. Call us to learn more.
